  • Chicago Radio Laboratory Amplifigon Type AGN-2 comprises detector and efficient two-step amplifier which actually amplifies using CRL's three-winding amplifier coil. Special circuit employed by which one "A" and one "B" battery are used for all tubes without impairing signal strength. This Audion apparatus is licensed under DeForest patents Nos. 841,387 and 879,532. It matches the Regenerator having same size to sit neatly on top of it, and the RF input and reaction terminals are adjacent to those of the Tuner. See picture.
