  • The Zenith RF-88Y is an AC/Battery operated portable 5 band receiver. Has Qty (1) PM 2" speaker and Qty(1) PM 3.5" speaker. Also has push-pull output stage and earphone jack that disconnects the speaker for private listening.

    Band Frequency Ranges are as follows:
    AM Band...............540 - 1600kHz
    Marine Band..........1.6 - 4.6MHz
    FM Band...............88 - 108MHz

    Air Band...............108 - 135MHz
    PSB Band............144 - 174MHz

    Has Qty(2) antenna's.  One telescoping rod antenna is used for FM, AIR and PSB (Public Service Band), and ferrite antenna used for AM and Marine bands. When operated by batteries, it uses Qty(4) 1.5V "C" batteries.
