-
The Zenith Royal 700L is a portable, battery operated 7 transistor AM band radio. The AM band frequency tuning range is 540 to 1600kHz. Has push-pull audio output stage and earphone jack that disconnects the speaker for private listening. Was available with either a brown or black leather case.
Transistor shortages in the late 1950's from the transistor manufacturers forced Zenith to have slightly different designs using different chassis with transistors from 3 different manufacturers.
