Although not Catalin, it is one of the most important plastic radios. Early examples were made of "Makalot" in darker colors. Later "Plaskon" came in brighter colors, e.g.ivory, yellow, lavender, green, blue, red, but also brown and black are found. A variety of three different front decorations was on offer: a panel depicting Egyptian figures, another panel with a map of the world, and yet another with a clock. The Egyptian version and the red and lavender colors are the most sought after and can easily reach a price range far above ten thousand Dollar. Even the most popular ones like ivory or black would ask not less then one thousand and more.
