Receiving AM on band ll and the dial when turned clockwise makes the pointer go counterwise.
Is this normal? Seems the AM 540- 1600KC would be on band lll and the dial lists 700-2000
Band ll has the dial listing at 200-550 and band 1 the dial listing at 17-51.

The dial pointer should not move counterwise to the knob. If so, the dial cord must have been guided in the wrong way.
Band I is short wave 17-51 meters wavelength, band II is medium wave, i.e. the normal AM broadcast band 200-550 meters wavelength, band III is long wave 700-2000 m wavelength.
