Dear Colleagues,

I have reviewed the existing schematic for the 601W and it does not include the EF42 tube and the complete "cage" for the UKW tuner.

The LW, MW, and KW band functions as normal (after I installed the missing AZ11 rectifier); however, the UKW band  is  silent.

I have reviewed the following model year Imperial 602W, and it reflects the EF42 installation with slightly different sswitch contacts (using the EF41, EBC41 tubes etc - with the selenium rectifier.

Is it possible that a member may have a schematic for the "prototype variant"?

I am especially intrigued by the stated frequency range of 85-105Mhz for this early UKW equipped radio.

After reviewing the rear panel submitted by Peter Böhm, there is different power consumption listing for the different versions
without UKW installed, the panel reads ca 60 Watt
with UKW installed the panel reads ca. 70Watt
all other notations ar eidentical.

Additionally, the production numbers appear to be distinctly different
without UKW installed, the stamped numbers appear to be 5 digits. . . . . .
with the UKW installed, the stamped production numbers on my chassis are 147336. . . . . .

On the inside of the rear panel, there is the small paper label which identifies the 8 tubes installed and the erstes, zweites, und drittes filters (note - the UKW erroneously list 10,7KHz instead of 10,7 MHz for the UKW IF transformers)

Respectfully,
