Please consider text edit change for US variant model 5490St/U as follows: Valves/Tubes - 13: same as 5490Stereo with 2xELL80 output tubes replaced by 4xEL95 power pentodes.
Wave bands MW, KW1, KW2, KW3, and UKW should read BC, S1, S2, S3, and FM (88mhz to 108 mhz). The Stereo-Decoder 4 or Stereo-Decoder 5 may be installed.

Complete original Grundig schematic for the AM/FM Super 5490St/U is being scanned - and will be submitted shortly.

My original Grundig sales packet includes the original Registration card, Warranty card, and original Operating Instructions (number 11-1298-31B). The radio is identified as:
5490U Stereo. The included original schematic id= 29363He (chassis 11-1298-3101/S) identifies the radio as AM/FM Super 5490 St/U. Schematic number 5260 for the Stereo-Decoder 5U is also part of the packet. Chassis number for the 5U schematic is 19-8023-3001/S.

If Grundig produced a variant for Canada or other North American countries, I am not aware of it. Possibly some members of the staff have more precise information. I accept which ever position staff recommends - Respectfully.

It's very easy and after the models is checked by the model-administrators you can access it by the search and upload your schematic and pictures of the radio.
