Hello, first time posting with a question. I have a Grundig KS-570. I am working on this receiver and found an open 1k ohm 6 watt resistor (B+) on top of a transformer and a componet next to it listed on the schematic as 9218-103 that is physically damaged. I am in need of this part (9218-103 as listed on schematic). Is there a dirct replacement or a complement of parts to make one.

This part is a "coil choke" or inductance, and their main function is in the BF realimentation circuit. I can't see their value in the schema, but there are two in your radio, one for each stereo channel. May be you could take the good one and made some measures, and then look for a new one qith same or similar value.

Are you shure that can't repair it ? . I think that this inductance could be really very dificult to destroy, mainly because it's only a coil of aislated copper cable, so if you can find the beggining and the end of the copper cable you could use it  (placing the coil in a 1Mohm resistor as example)

Alternativelly may be that someone with more practice could take us the aproximative value for this inductance. If not, look for one similar in your badge and try it. If wrong, result could be bad sound, but nothing more.
