Please help me to id this old Marconi tube.

I could read:

Officine Radio Marconi Genova

BES.1 

2957 & 2454 codes

The same base and size like VT-4C and RS237

Hello Dragan,

these tubes comes from the italian manufacture of Marconi in Genova.

It looks very similar to Telefunken transmitting triodes.

The sockets VT4C and RS237 are different. Can you post a further image with the socket?

Hello Hans and thanks for interest in these tubes, after few months of extensive search ... still no results.

These tubes have similar socket like VT-4C and RS237, identical pin positions and diameter.
