Good Morning and happy new year ! I have picked up a model 69 Tube tester and I am concerend it may have some problems. Before I get to working on it can someone tell me if there is a schmatic available ? I am sure it has some old Caps or resistors that pehaps need to be replaced as preventivive mainenance .

Kind Regards,

Dear Frank
Such schematics are rare and it is quite possible that no member has it or is aware of your request.
I would consider to check other similar tube testers for schematics. There are very few different principles and the flow as such is very simple. It is often only the big number of wires that make things a bit more tricky.

I think you have also better chance if you take and upload some photos of your set and load them up.

You should first click the link FAQ and there read the step-by-step-instruction - to get a size of 933 pixel width (up to 1400 hight) with still less than 180 KB size.

Take for instance the meter without flash and frontal, the same with the lower part with all the switches etc. And most important from the inside and the wiring - before altering anything. By that one can also see if there is an obvious problem.

Members see then also that you are an active member and want to help. They may be able to help without the schematic. Good luck!
