I have a Philips Saturn which receives FM band, but does not receive AM, I have spent many hours trying to trace the fault,mainly looking arouns the ECH81 tube thinking the ocillator is not functioning.Has any member come accross this problem? Kenneth Elwin.

Following the pattern of wave check the switch to AM, check grid and plate voltages ECH81.
