rolland: 445; unknown

One of these has recently been offered on Ebay and the seller thinks the chassis was made by Sobell.

Chassis looks identical to the Sobell 515 series on Trader Sheet 1194 (which shows photo of a totally different Sobell!) but chassis drawing matches. Also sold as "Banner". Very many versions inc. Radiogram & TV use.

Here is Sobell 515P  Uses EAF42 (pin compatible) but some versions use incompatible EF41 (the EAF42 diode isn't used anyway on 515P). The Trader sheet seems more comprehensive than R&TVS for this model.

Photos of Sobell 515 family on web show very similar 4 knob front panel & tuning scale layout.

[Edit another "Rolland" owner confirms the Sobell 515 Trader sheet looks like the same circuit. Also a different "Rolland" model is a quite different make of set, so Rolland may be a Department Store or Distributor brand?]
