Hi, I am restoring a W-82 E-Röhren and need to know the IF frequency. It seems to be set at 475KHz, but I hear CW faintly on the AM Broadcast band and a local NYC AM Broadcast station on the S/W band. Also, the log scale is off by about 40KHz. Can anyone suggest what IF was used in European or German Radios in the late 1950s? Tnx, Rik w2rik@arrl.net

Hello Rik.
From some documents in the RMorg, it is to be seen, that the "Südfunk" company used in these years an IF of 473 kc.
