The Accurate Instrument model 153 Signal Generator & Tracer was first made with 4 tubes and later with three and a selenium (solid state) rectifier. Both versions were also made for Lafayette as Lafayette model KT-208 (38-0102). January 10, 1962 is the schematic for the 4 tube version - but we don't know how long it stayed version 1. We know that version two was sold at least until 1966. The first version has tube 6AG5 (or EF96) as RF Osc., 5687 pre amp., 6350 power out (in parallel in early version for 2 kOhm impedance) and 5965 is the rectifier and audio oscillator. Generator from 250 kHz to 120 MHz in 5 ranges. A crude AM modulation of the AF input signal is a feature. 110 VAC power supply. 400 cycle audio tone.
Paralell type to Lafayette KT-208.
