- Adams-Morgan Co. brought out in November 1922, electrically nearly identical to the popular RA-10 the RD-5 incorporated the detector tube inside the receiver cabinet. A separate two stage amp the A-2 was sold to boost the output to drive a horn speaker. The 10R RF amp was added six months later to boost sales but they never reached the levels of the RA-10.
