- According to SAMS Photofact date 2-57, set 346, folder 2 the Admiral models HP2235, HP2238 and 4G22D have chassis 4G2 and the models 4D18D and 4D28D have the chassis 4G2A. They are table top AC operated phono amplifiers with 4 speed automatic record changer. The record changers used are RC664 for 4G22D, RC654 for 4D28D, RC664 for 4D18D and RC646 or RC646-1 for HP2235 and HP2238. The two speakers are 8" or 12" and 3.5" in diameter. They have different carrying handles but model 4G22D has none. Cabinet colors are brown or silver oak.
