- Beitman and SAMS Photofact Date 4-55, set 274, folder 2 shows the Admiral models 4Z11, 4Z12 (color maroon, some say brown), 4Z14 (beige), 4Z18 (green) and 4Z19 (grey) with chassis 4Z1. Admiral dataheet states model 4Z11 model color is Ebony and model 4Z12 color is Maroon. They are 4 tube three power portable AM superheterodyne receivers. The only difference being the cabinet color. The models have a built in "Iron Core Antenna" and a selenium rectifier. Depending on the serial number the sets show an alternate audio coupling system with only 6 (couplate 6344-3) instead of 9 parts. Top dial, 2 knobs, perforated metal grille on front.
