  • 10 Valve, AC powered, Screen Grid, TRF Receiver with Grid Leak Detection and a Push-Pull audio driver stage driving a Push-Pull audio output stage.    The volume control on this Model and Ninety C66 was a handheld, wired remote control type. It comprised of a handheld potentiometer mounted in a cylindrical case with a Bakelite knob plugged into the terminals in an ident on the left hand side of the cabinet and was connected by a 3 core, screened cable. When not in use the unit hooks onto the side of the cabinet.

    AWA advertised price in 1930 was £115/-

    Chassis:
    Two chassis are used in this radiogram. The receiver chassis housed in the upper compartment and the audio output amplifier and power supply in the speaker compartment. The power supply uses two, 280 rectifiers, one powering the B+ and the other powering the speaker’s field coil.

    Phonograph:
    Electric Induction motor driven 78RPM turntable, automatic stop and Tone arm with volume and tone controls incorporated.

    Cabinet:
    Large console style cabinet with phonograph lid on top and sliding doors on the front.
