  • The Radiola Phonograph Unit was a small, portable instrument comprising a turntable and tone arm with an RCA magnetic pickup which would plug into the auxiliary phono input on any standard 1931, Radiola Receiver. The turntable was powered by a windup, spring driven mechanism.

    The unit was advertised for £13/10/- and according to the AWA Advertising Pamphlet an optional electric motor was available for £9/- extra. The motor option was not mentioned in the D26 Service Data.

    The Cabinet was manufactured from Queensland Maple veneer with an overall height of 2ft, 2½ inches with removable legs.
