    FAKE ! why?
    1) Binding posts don't look like Amrad. They are similar to those used by Westinghouse/RCA for Radiola Sr., Jr., RA/DA/RC.
    2) The bigger bore holes bearing the smaller nuts and vice versa.
    3) The free hole is countersunk from the bottom side. That means that something was fixed at the top side.
    4) The contersunk holes are well made, but the wiring grooves are bungling.
    5) The wiring is also bungling.
    6) The label belongs to the Amrad Quenched Gap G3!

Altogether it could pass as a homebrew if not the label would charge it a bold fake.

I am fairly sure this Amrad crystal detector is a fraud other than the tag. The Amrad part number Type G-3 was the 1/4 KW Quenched Gap. I would guess this tag was taken removed from one of these Quenched gaps.
