Model UN-23 is a receiver for Broadcast stations (MW) at preset frequencies. The antenna signal is passed through a bandfilter and detected in the first section of the double triode ECC40. The resulting LF signal is amplified in the second section.
The Amroh power supply unit UN-1 may be used for powering the UN-23.
The coupling capacitor in the bandfilter (C3) has to be set experimentally between 3 to 30 pF for best selectivity and reception.
