  • The 'Original Generation' Apple Airport Extreme Base Station Model A1034 ​supports an 802.11b/g wireless LAN that allows up to 50 Macs or PCs to be connected to the internet via a DSL or cable modem, or via an optional internal dial-up modem. It was introduced in January 2003 to replace the original Airport Base Station and was replaced in January 2007 by the square-shaped '1st Generation' Model A1143 Airport Extreme with support for 802.11 Draft-N.
