• Bemerkung
• The Arvin model 802 "Battery-Electric" in a "three--ply wood" cabinet with a fine grade airplane luggage cloth covering and leather handle can be seen 1939 at least in two fliers "New 1940 Arvin Radios". The 5-tube AC/DC and battery model has a built in loop antenna called "Phantom Scope" and a compartment for the electric cord when not in use. Band coverage of the Arvin 802 is 540 to 1750 kc which includes some police reception. The flier mentiones also the same model as Arvin 803 for AC instead of AC/DC but otherwise the same.
