Astor Sultan
Triple Screen Grid Interstate Receiver.
Illustrated above is the rich lowboy console of this powerful trans-continental receiver that has revolutionised interstate reception. In the Sultan three giant screen grid radio amplifiers each incorporated in a separate tuned circuit, totally shielded; give an amplification 27 times greater than three normal valves. The new power detector with E406* superpower valve in output stage ensures a tone realism of reproduction that is almost uncanny in its fidelity.
