  • Annotazioni
  • The 2-Stage Audio Amplifier part #3634 was Atwater Kent's first attempt at a radio part with more than one active electrical component specifically two audio transformers mounted in the metal can and potted in a tar-like substance. These used a 2 ohm rheostat to control the filaments of the UV201 1 amp tubes. There were two versions of the 3634 amp. The first version had all knurled thumb nuts for connections and was never used on a production AK breadboard. The Type 2 3634 was identical to the first except posts were installed for audio output so more than one person could hook up phones to the unit. The Type 2 3634 was used on the 3955 and the 3975 production breadboards.
