  • Shortwave regenerative receiver designed by the staff of Australasian Radio World to cover the shortwave band from 20 to 80 metres with three sets of plug-in coils.

    The first IC4 provides RF gain. The second 1C4 provides leaky-grid detection and screen grid regeneration. Regeneration control is provided by a potentiometer providing voltage control on the detector screen.

    Two tuning controls are provided for RF and detector tuning.

    The 1D4 provides audio output for headphones.

    It was sold as a kit by various advertisers in Australasian Radio World for £11/18/3, complete with headphones and batteries.
