  • Annotazioni
  • At least three different companies, each in three different cities, have been associated with the "Radiolette" name. The March 1924 Radio News magazine advertisement pictured above, lists the Benson Melody Company (later called Benson Engineering Co.) Chicago, Illinois. In the November 1924 issue of the Radio Trade Directory on manufacturers of crystal sets the "Radiolette" is listed as a product of the Aeolus Corp. New York city, New York. The paper tag appearing on the base of some existing Radiolettes list the Novelty Radio Manufacturing Company Saint Louis, Missouri as the patentee and sole manufacturer. To furthur complicate the issue, the November 1924 Radio Trade Directory listed the Nickelette as a product of the Novelty Radio Mfg. Co. The Nickeltte was identical to the Radiolette.

Apparently the Novelty Radio Manufacter Company produced these crystal sets and they were also distributed by Benson Melody and the Aeolus Corp.
