  • Anotaciones
  • Uses B103 Combo Battery pack within the case. LT 250mA and HT about 12mA, the extra HT current of RF preamp, Magic Eye and phase splitter (2nd DAF96) is offset by the savings of near Class B operation of the Push-pull output.

Mentioned in UK Radio Show catalogues of 1954 and 1956 (both list same wavebands).

Walnut veneer with dark brown loudspeaker grille. All components tropicalised.

    MW and three Shortwave bands.
    Waveband Ranges: 10-20m, 20-45m, 44-100m, 190-545 m.

BEREC version of Ever Ready Spacemaster. Both appear to be Export versions as neither has LW. The Ever Ready Sky Monarch (AM only) would have been the version for Domestic UK market. Not related to any Lissen Skyscraper models.

    Also has a tone control.

The 1953 Ever Ready Skyscraper L26 (Single DL94 o/p) has a BEREC version also called Skyscraper, hence "MkII" for this model. The most obvious difference visually between the earlier Skyscraper and this Skyscraper II is the Magic Eye in centre of speaker cloth.
