  • The B&K 160 is a dynamic AC small signal measurement for transistor Beta at an inherent accuracy of + or -  3 percent. It also tests for junction leakage.  It will not burn out a transistor.  It is also burnout proof against shorted transistors.  The unit has a built in AC power supply which can also be used to power transistor radios.  Voltage is variable and both voltage and current can be metered with the front panel meter.
