Nachfolger-Modell (gleiches Gehäuse und 3 Wellenbereiche) ist das Modell Transistor K; die Zwischenlösung mit Transistor 2 (nur Mittel- und Langwelle) war bedingt durch die fehlende Verfügbarkeit von KW-tauglichen Transistoren. Erst mit dem Modell T22 ab 1960 war auch UKW-Empfang möglich.
