    Transistors listed once per type. The EHT rectifier can either be a valve (DY51) or a semiconductor stack (TV11K) in later versions.

    Notes:

    • The schematic for "Serie U" mentions the picture tube as V2, but there is no V1. In earlier revisions position number V1 was most likely used to designate the DY51 EHT-rectifier. In "Serie U" a TV11.6K70 or a TV11K semiconductor stack is used as an EHT-rectifier instead.
    • "Serie U" sets were either fitted with a VHF tuner GRF119/B (channels E2 - E12) for Europe or with a VHF tuner GRF119/D (channels A - H) for Italy. The UHF tuner is a GRF515/B in both cases.
    • Different revisions of this model are known.

    La versione "VR" (1973) dispone di tuner a Varicap e tastirera a quattro canali con 3 bande ( I , III , e IV/V ) selezionabili.

Breve descrizione del circuito di alimentazione (basetta GRP 75)

In figura è visibile lo schema elettrico della sezione di alimentazione del televisore Algol 11" della Brion vega. Il trasformatore è stato realizzato mediante due sezioni simmetriche e la predisposizione per le diverse tensioni di alimentazione, da 125 a 220V si ottiene mediante opportuni collegamenti in serie-parallelo delle due sezioni primarie.
 
La tensione secondaria è raddrizzata con un ponte costituito da quattro diodi al silicio tipo SD 91 S (D 751 - 754) e filtrata dal condensatore C751 (5000 uF, 30V). Un circuito elettronico stabilizza la tensione in uscita entro +/-1% per variazioni della tensione di rete dell'ordine del +/-15%.
 
Il transistor T29, attua da regolatore serie variando la caduta di tensione interna. R705 limita la potenza dissipata da T29. Il transistor T27 amplifica la tensione di errore che si verifica fra la solita tensione di riferimento, fornita dal diodo zener D702 (tipo OAZ210), e la tensione di uscita, presa al centro del partitore costituito da R711, R710, e R709.
 
Il transistor T28 amplifica in corrente l'uscita di TR27 e pilota il transistor regolatore serie T29. Il potenziometro R710 dà la possibilità di regolare la tensione di uscita e di portarla perciò all'esatto valore richiesto che è di 11.5V.
 
Lo stesso circuito stabilizzatore elettronico, quando il televisore viene spento, resta automaticamente predisposto per fornire la corrente di ricarica delle batterie.
 
Il potenziometro R708 serve a regolare il valore della corrente di carica mentre la resistenza R703 e lo stabilizzatore di tensione D701, collegati alla base di T28 hanno il compito di limitare la corrente iniziale di carica al valore più opportuno.

A brief description of the power supply circuit (circuit board GRP 75)
 
In the figure is visible the electric diagram of the power supply section of the Brion Vega portable television, model Algol 11 ". The transformer has been realized by means of two symmetrical sections and the predisposition for the different supply voltages, from 125 to 220V is achieved by means of suitable connections in series-parallel of the two main sections.
 
The secondary voltage is rectified by a bridge consisting of four silicon diodes type SD 91 S (D 751 - 754) and filtered by capacitor C751 (5000 uF, 30V). An electronic circuit stabilizes the output voltage within + / -1% for variations in the mains voltage of the order of + / -15%.
 
The transistor T29, acts as a regulator series by varying the internal voltage drop. R705 limits the power dissipated by T29. The transistor T27 amplifies the error voltage that occurs between the usual reference voltage, provided by the zener diode D702 (type OAZ210), and the output voltage, taken at the center of the divider formed by R711, R710, and R709.
 
The transistor T28 amplifies the output current of the driver transistor TR27 and T29 series regulator. The potentiometer R710 gives the possibility to adjust the output voltage, whose nominal value is 11.5V.
 
The same circuit, when the TV is turned off, is automatically set up to provide the charging current of the battery.
 
The potentiometer R708 is used to adjust the value of the charging current while the resistor R703 and the voltage stabilizer D701, connected to the base of T28 have the task of limiting the initial current charging to the value most appropriate.
