• Remarques

• The monarch model UA8  is a four speed (16⅔, 33⅓, 45 and 78rpm) automatic record changer which will play 7, 10 and 12 inch diameter records. It can play up to ten 78rpm 10inch and 12inch records mixed, up to ten 33⅓ rpm 10inch and 12inch LP records mixed,  and up to ten 45rpm 7inch records. Manual operation also possible and 16⅔ rpm records should be played singly. 3 adaptors are provided for 7 inch records with large centre holes. After the last record has played the tonearm is returned to its rest and the motor is switched off. An HGP37 or HGP59-3C cartridge is included.

  Power Requirements
  The Monarch UA8 is usually despatched from the factory for operation on 200-250V AC 50Hz. Operation on 100-125V 50Hz requires changing the wiring between the switch box and the motor and from switch box to the mains supply. Some motors are specially wound for 110V AC. For operation on 60Hz mains, a special four speed pulley is required. The US export model is set up for 117V AC 60Hz with the special pulley fitted.
