  • The Canadian Bulova model 249 (The Companion) is a 4-tube portable radio that can operate from internal batteries or 117V AC or DC. 
    Requires two C size Eveready type 950 "A" batteries, and one 67.5V Eveready type 477 "B" battery. Also available in blue model 246 and Tan model 247.

    Although not the same model, the schematic from USA model 240 may be close enough for repair purpose
