I took part in the original launch of this model in the Rank Radio International factory in Skegness Lincolnshire. U.K. As a final tester.

The year was 1974, although the model was in prototype in late 1973.
It was only a few months later that the Skegness factory closed and all the workforce were made redundant. I possess a mint condition example of this radio Serial No. 358A/9300 and use it regular. As you see, it is a very low serial.
No more were produced and the model was shelved indefinitely. I would make this aware to your members as this affects the value somewhat.
