  • Annotazioni
  • The Cambridge Spot Galvanometer is a highly sensitive instrument designed to measure minute electrical currents.

Its key feature is its ability to magnify tiny movements through a unique optical system:

    • A beam of light is reflected from a mirror onto a distant scale.
    • As the mirror rotates, the light spot moves across the scale, acting as a long, weightless pointer that greatly amplifies the small mirror rotation.
    • This precise movement of the light spot enables extremely accurate measurements of even the smallest currents, far surpassing the sensitivity of instruments with physical pointers.

    This specific galvanometer model features:

    • Scales ranging from 0 to 100 and 50 to 0 to 50.
    • No tuning wheel on the front.
    • A top-mounted switch.
    • Two terminals at the back.
    • An external power connection for the spot lamp.
