The Canadian Marconi model 83 is an 8-tube radio for broadcast and shortwave reception. Covers 530-1625 kHz, 1605-5200 kHz and 5175-18070 kHz.
For 25 or 60 Hz operation depending on nameplate rating.Models 81, 82 and 83 share the same schematic: the only difference is that models 82 and 83 have also a tuning indicator. Models 82 and 83 share also the same operating instructions.
