  • Model 556-A uses a permanent magnet speaker. Model 556-AA uses an electro dynamic speaker. The schematic is similar but not identical to model W568-A.  Uses a series resistor (app. 80 ohms) in the filament circuit. The I.F. frequency is probably 460Hz.
