    This model page is for collecting uncertain or unknown pictures or facts for a given season. Can also contain the different pictures for the different models from sets of this season.
    For season G, 1938/39 there were at least the following general models offered:
    500G, 405G, 406G, 407G, 408G, 409G, 410G, 306G, 110G and 1600G plain cabinet for a conceiled installation.
    Known details for 1600G are found here. This model type started in season "B" and ended in this season "G".

    Chassis:
    Tuner 8 tubes, Rider's 10-13 schematic W-947 (Oct. 18, 1938): 6K7 RF,  6J5 osc, 6L7 mixer, 2 x 6K7 IF, 6G5 magic eye, 6H6 2nd det, 6J5 AVC. 3-gang tuning condenser. 1983 GEC is for 25 cycles mains and 1982 GEC for 60 cycles mains. 8 plus 4 push buttons. Extended or remote control possible. Linear sensivity control for RF tube. Three volume controls: volume, bass and treble with two volume indicators and Radio/Phono indicator (lamps). 4 dial lights.
    Bass amp. 11 tubes, Rider's 10-14 schematic W-949: 6N7, 3 x 6C5G, 6F6G, 4 x 6V6G, 2 x 5Z3. 3 x 8 ohm outputs, power choke 1829. 60 cycle is part 1547, 25 cycles part 1548. Treble amp. 4 tubes, Rider's 10-15 schematic W 948: 6F6G, 2 x 6V6G, 5Z3. Power choke 1829. 3 x 8 ohms output. Two loudspeakers: 14" and 12". Motor driven volume control for remote speakers.
    Capehart Play Control which allows to play a predetermined number of selections and offers an automatic stop after that.
    The Capehart 400 series were introduced for season 1931/32 without suffix, followed by A 1932/33, B 1933/34 etc. through to season 1948-50. See here the "Common information for the Capehart model pages for the 1930s and 1940s".
