400A DeLuxe series (De Luxe) collect page

The Capehart 400A series models were made in different technical versions and different cabinets. Also names like Chippendale were made in different cabinets. They could be bought for AM only or combined with FM reception in same cabinets. Please look up the whole range from 1931 to 1950.
Here we save details for later being able to put them to the correct models with the model types known.

Cabinets:
In the season 1932/33 Capehart has made a model 400A Chippendale, a model 402A Adam and a model 404A Chateau.
Chassis of the second saison:
The second chassis Series 400A has a tuning meter and uses the schematic W-820 with the following tubes: 58 RF, 56 osc, 58 mixer, 2 x 58 IF, 55 det,  57 AVC amp., 56 1st amp, 4 x 47 parallel + pushpull, 2 x 80. The 4 AF output tubes are in parallel push-pull for a maximum of 3 speakers of 6 ohms.

The Capehart model 400 series were introduced for season 1931/32 without suffix, followed by A 1932/33, B 1933/34 etc. through to 1948/49. See here the "Common information for the Capehart model pages for the 1930s and 1940s".
