La partie mobile est constituée d'une bobine parcourue par le courant à mesure entourant un cylindre de fer doux, et suspendue dans l'entrefer d'un aimant.
Ces types de galvanomètres ont été imaginés par M. Deprez vers 1879.
The movable part is constituted by a coil traversed by the current to be measured around a cylinder of soft iron, and suspended in the gap of a magnet.
