This is a large table top valve radio. There are two 6K8 triode hexode frequency changers, but one may be used as an amplfier..
The valves seem to be different in every one of these radios that I have seen. In some, one of the 6K8s is a 7A7E, the other a 6A8EG. In some, the 5Z4GT is a 5Z4G. Others have 6F6EG or 6F6Gs instead of the 6M6G. The 6Q7 has also, often, been replaced with a 7B6 or an EBC33. It appears that Central Equipment Ltd just put together whatever they had lying around at the time.
The Model plate simply has Derwent Radio and a serial number.
