This instrument is an electronic direct reading megger specially for measurement of high resistances and insulations of up to 20 x 1012 Ω at voltages between 20 to 5,000 V.
The test voltage is produced by a transistor double generator. The test voltage thus obtained gives a very low direct current which, greatly amplified in valve stages, flows into a direct-reading galvanometer graduated im MΩ.All other characteristics are in the original attached article.
