Record gramophone, BD (Majestic), Columbia circa 1910. Of all the record gramophones from the 1907-1910 period, the Majestic has a more essential appearance, with a notable decorative sobriety. In this example, the one-piece horn with molded "petals" is characteristic of English Columbia machines, up to the last horn models of 1929; it is more often made of painted tin than brass.
Original description from: “Fonografi e Grammofoni” by Christopher Proudfoot, Italian edition “Silvana Editoriale” 1980.
Reiss lists this as manufactured from 1906-1910 and somewhat rare with an estimated value of $3,500 USD (2007).
