  • Remarques
  • "Home Premier (BM)" cylinder graphophone, Columbia, 1906. A smaller version of the "Twentieth Century Home Premier" of 1905, the BM has a reproducer with the same friction amplification system, despite being smaller in diameter. The mahogany case is rare in cylinder machines, especially in graphophones, which were almost always made of oak.

Original description from: “Fonografi e Grammofoni” by Christopher Proudfoot, Italian edition “Silvana Editoriale” 1980.

Grafofono a cilindri "Home Premier (BM)", Columbia, 1906.

Edizione Italiana Silvana Editoriale, 1980.

Reiss lists this as manufactured from 1906-1910 and cost $75 USD when first introduced. It is fairly rare with an estimated value of $2,800 USD (2007).
