Fringe version of similar 948 with better front end RF stage and other revisions. Uses PCB panels. IF and Power PCBs are similar to 948.
Live Chassis (typical early 1950 to early 1970s). Thus Aerial isolator should be checked and replacement parts 470pf (centre coax) and 2200nF (shield to chassis) "Y" 1kV or more rated ceramic. R1 (100k) and R2 (1M) antistatic resistors must be 300V rated.
