The Criterion 5MC is an AC operated 7 tube BC band receiver. Has one dial tuning.
This model is shown on page 935 of the 1930 catalog of the Blish, Mize Silliman Hardware Co. of Atchison, Kansas. The ad notes that the chassis was finished in "gold moire," which means it was painted. The ad also mentions that the cabinet was finished with Duco, which at that time was a new and superior type of lacquer from Dupont.
