The Criterion 6 is an AC operated 9 tube BC band receiver. Has one dial tuning and push-pull output stage.
This radio is shown on Page 935 of the 1930 catalog of the Blish, Mize & Silliman Hardware Co. of Atchison Kansas. The advertisement indicates it has 9 tubes, but does not indicate the type of rectifier tube used. It has two chassis, with copper coil shields. The indicate that it has a Duco finish (at that time, Duco was a new and superior lacquer from DuPont). The chassis werefinishedin "gold moire," which means they were painted.
