• Bemerkung

• The Crosley 128 "Battery Chieftain" is an Battery operated 8 tube BC band receiver.  Has push pull audio output stage. Has shadow dial that uses neon lamp and continous (stepless) tone control.

  From the Crosley News Brochure:  The front inside panel is of figured oriental wood arched with an overlay of bird's eye maple.  The doors are of fancy matched walnut veneer. American black walnut veneer is used in the top and sides.

  In many cases Crosley used the chassis number as the model number, and added a model name to some models to help distinguish versions that used common chassis.  Here are the models that used the 128 chassis versions:
