    Rider's specifies 2.5 V heating instead of 6.3 V for tube type 42, which is consistent with the advertising: "2.5 V Heater Type Tubes". But the schematic indicates a separate 6.3 V winding on the mains X-former for the 42, which thus is separated from the 2.5 v winding.

    May be sometimes it was intended to employ a 45 tube instead?
