The first version of a Crosley Crystal Receiver, later also called "Harko Radio Receiver" is more primitive without a variable capacitor is located here Harko Radio Receiver. This new model wihout overhanging lid has also a panel of bakelite instead wood. The Crosley Receiver No. 1, also called Harko Radio Receiver No. I or C.R. No-1 (CR I) "is made so that the Crosley "Audion Detector Unit", Crosley "Radio Frequency Tuned Amplifier (RFTA)" and Crosley "Two-Stage Audio Frequency Amplifier" may be added if desired, to increase the range and volume of sound." is part of an ad. It is a full system, including everything to receive near by stations - araound 25 to 30 miles away is stated.
